i was almost out the door for vacation when the articles started popping up all over the place about the CVS surcharge. CVS is adding a $600 surcharge to the cost of health insurance for any employee who doesn’t get a health risk assessment. The media did an extremely poor job reporting the story, misreporting some details and not providing context for others.

i bookmarked the story until i got back and had the time to write about it in my april newsletter. along with my perspective on their decision, you’ll find recommended monthly reads, upcoming speaking engagements, and other news too.
